Creating the Self Disciplined Dog
We don’t go after obedience directly, we believe that a better path to obedience is through Canine Interaction. We can help you and your dog become a team. Canine Interaction training uses reward and repetition to create default behaviors.
For bad behavior we ignore, re-direct, or remove the reward from the behavior. A behavior that is rewarded gets stronger, and a behavior that is never rewarded goes extinct. All rewards flow through the handler.
With these few simple concepts in mind, we create situations to help our dogs make good decisions.
We believe that helping our dogs make good decisions provides a better education than making their decisions for them.
Our classes take place in the real world: in the parks and streets of Fargo. You will learn how to handle your dogs in real world situations.
If you want to have a fun and rewarding relationship with your dog and the proven skills to teach dogs to do just about anything you can imagine, you’re in the right place.
The journey starts with Interaction I in the studio and the PVybe Fargo grounds.
Handlers will be given the tools to communicate and work with their dogs and shown how to use them. Attention, Targeting, Spot training, loose leash walking, and recalls are the focus of this 6 week course.
Expanding on the on leash foundation of Interaction I, Interaction II is guided public access training with Abby in the city and parks of Fargo.
Personal Lesson Plans come in six packs. Six 1 hour lessons: you come to us, we come to you, we work in public, whatever is necessary for your dog.
